Interactive displays for Coca Cola Olympics campaign

The greatest Irish experiential agency Verve nailed it again with Coca Cola interactive branding series of events featuring Olympics 2012 in the centrally located legendary Tower Records venue, Dublin.

Verve augmented their displays with UNIKI’s interactive displays with augmented reality and gesture control app targeting youth audiences. We at UNIKI were honored to feature some of the finest Olympic sports in HD resolution, and made sure there were some brilliant snapshots taken to be tagged and shared inside Coca Cola’s Facebook app – watch out for funny faces, fresh talents, loads of fun and happy athletes all around Facebook and elsewhere!

Media trends seminar SEMPL roundtable on new digital media opportunities

Seminar on media trends (SEMPL) will host roundtable about new digital media opportunities titled “Internet (still) offers many opportunities. Can you find them?” on November 30th at 4 pm with guest from new digital and mobile media Slovenian start-up scene.

Seminar on media trends (SEMPL) is an internationally recognized event, which is intended for the presentation of current media trends in the Adriatic region and the analysis of foreign and domestic good praxis. It is intended for all those who work in media, with media or for media, and all those who shape media trends and act according to them.

Roundtable will be exploring the topic “Internet (still) offers many opportunities. Can you find them?” Media are looking for new business models, which would have represented an additional (or even dominant) source of income. Most of them use the internet and looking for new digital technologies. Some Slovenian start-up companies have also found a niche on the internet as developing new advertising tools, different ways of interaction between consumers and the ad message, new digital and mobile platforms. On 28th of September the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia will host Forum SFPO. We are honored that we were invited to lecture at this year forum.

The main topic of SFPO FORUM 2011 is the story of knowledge, its foundations, ways of working theory into practice, and the systematic conversion of know-how into globally competitive products with high added value.

What do KAWS, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Hennessy and UNIKI Interactive have in common?

The love for Very Special things.

And it all came together in a beautiful VIP evening at the eclectic New York must experience institution, the New Museum, under the watchful eye of our fav nyc based event agency Team Epiphany (respect!), an evening of expectations and awe on Thursday July 21st.

We were honored and proud to be chosen for the delicate task of providing some of the most visible wow-moments for the VS(OP) night. The UNIKI mega digital shadow interactive reveal wall, which we set up in one hour sharp, was 36ft (12m) long and 10 ft (3m) high and breathtaking for most visitors. To quote just one: “OMG, this is soooo awesome…and I’m not even good at using computers!!”

The exclusive bottles will hit the store shelves in September ’11, that is if there will be any left..it is a limited edition numbered series after all.
So, a-a really…can’t touch this ;)

On Monday 27th of June you are kindly invited to exhibition opening “…Seite XX” at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin. The exhibition is devoted to 20th anniversary of the birth of Slovenian state. UNIKI’s first ever interactive kite screen @ KiteLife season opening party

UNIKI showed off first ever interactive Kite projection screen at KiteLife’s season opening event in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Real-sized kite was mounted under the roof of the Cvetličarna night club. The rear projector screen was set up to project an interactive projection on the kite surface. 3D sensor tracked the movement of the visitors. The movement was transferred in real time onto the kite’s projection which was transformed in the coolest projection effect ever. Uniki at SxSW, entering the US market

Howdy from Texas, Ya’all!

Austin, TX, to be precise, the live music capital of the world, known and loved for it’s music/film/interactive South by Southwest festival bringing together the geekiest with the hippest in a creative exchange and business handshakes that kick off springtime energy boosts for everyone.

SxSW attracts thousands, not to say tens of thousands of people every year and produces an apropriately exponential stirr in the online social space, so we were honored when the top New York Startups decided Uniki is going to provide gesture interaction at their all day event.

So there we were this Sunday March 13th, at the legendary The Parish, interacting with 10genAviaryBlip.tvBuddy MediaBuzz FeedDaylifeFoursquareEtsyHarvestHashableHowAboutWeKalturaKnewtonLot18MeetupPixableSecond Market,ShapewaysSolvateSquareSpace,YipitZemanta

Visitors used our Uni.Gallery interactive picture caroussell to help visually identify representatives of presenting companies, familiarize themselves with their names, titles and twitter handles. Newcomers waved their way through a showreel of the startups and then continued to network with new confidence.

For the more relaxed crowd we pulled live twitter feeds under the event hashtag into Uni.Bubbles so they moved around with the attendants image on the screen.

About 700 attendants later we can say with confidence that:

one screen + two Uniki applications = a ton of different natural user interface approaches

We have wittnessed marketingers squat and jump, sales people scratch the air, CEO’s pull imaginary loads with two hands, ingeeners move their hips, and our favourite, the legendary-karate-kid “wax on, wax off” full arm circular waves. All of them came with a smile. And that made all of  us happy!

So watch out America, here we come :)
